In een tijd waarin mensen steeds vaker worden gereduceerd tot rollen, meningen en tegenstellingen, brengt Selfie van de Ziel Deel III een dringend pleidooi voor het individu. Zes kunstenaars tonen een ongefilterd en persoonlijk portret van de mens achter het masker — kwetsbaar, zoekend, schaamteloos en in voortdurende verandering.
Met installaties, films, foto’s, schilderijen en tekeningen verkennen zij thema’s als balans en disbalans, het onaffe en het tijdelijke. In verf, vorm en ruimte ontstaat een spanningsveld waarin niets vastligt en alles in beweging is: schaamte krijgt een fysieke aanwezigheid, portretten vervormen tot vluchtige momentopnamen en innerlijke landschappen ontvouwen zich als processen van zelfreflectie en transformatie.
Deze tentoonstelling is het derde deel in een reeks solopresentaties en nodigt uit tot een andere manier van kijken: niet naar de ander als categorie, maar als mens. Wat gebeurt er als we elkaar werkelijk ontmoeten?

In a time when people are increasingly reduced to roles, opinions, and oppositions, Selfie of the Soul Part III makes an urgent plea for the individual. Six artists present an unfiltered and deeply personal portrait of the human behind the mask, vulnerable, searching, unapologetic, and in constant transformation.
Through installations, films, photographs, paintings, and drawings, they explore themes such as balance and imbalance, the unfinished, and the temporary. In paint, form, and space, a field of tension emerges in which nothing is fixed and everything is in motion: shame takes on a physical presence, portraits dissolve into fleeting moments, and inner landscapes unfold as processes of self-reflection and transformation.
This exhibition is the third chapter in a series of solo presentations and invites a different way of seeing: not the other as a category, but as a human being. What happens when we truly meet one another?
